Laureato presso il Bachelor of Theatre Arts (Acting) nello USQ in 2005, Sam ha partecipato alle riprese per NEWTONS LAW (Queensland Arts Council / Strut and Fret), come pure per STICKS AND STONES (Brainstorm Productions).

Mentre Sam frequentava lo USQ è apparso in THE TAMING OF THE SHREW, THE GRAPES OF WRATH, THE THREE SISTERS and THE CRUCIBLE. Tra i film e le puntate televisive possiamo citare: Sea Patrol 3: Red Gold, 1 IN 3 and TIGHTROPE (QLD Police / RACQ feature).
Sam è un membro, nonchè fondatore, dello AS Independent Theatre, ed è apparso nel 2008 per la prima nel Queensland di Martin McDonagh's THE LIEUTENANT OF INISHMORE. Sam è un fiero membro del MEAA QLD Branch Council, come pure ricopre il ruolo di Secretary of the Society of Australian Fight Directors Inc.
