Brisbane City Cancells Italian Week Cup due to bad weather

It is with regret that we advise you that we have to cancel the ‘Italian Week Cup’ which was to be held on Wednesday 27th May.

The deluge earlier in the week covered our field with 2 metres of water, as you will see from the attached photos.

We have lost some fencing, there is thick debris covering the rest of the fences, our dressing rooms and gym (under the grandstand) were also 1 metre under water, and when waters subsided, left inches of thick mud behind.

It is unfortunate, but the field will not be playable by Wednesday.

Regards
Lola Nardozza
Director/Secretary
