A Night in Sardinia in conjunction with Angelo’s Fresh Pasta at Cosi Ristorante Italiano 699a Sandgate Road Clayfield. Part of 'A Taste of Italy' The staff at Cosi include Emanuele, Vanda or Rachela, the three children in the Mura family who have grown up surrounded by the wonderful aroma and charm of splendid family feasts and delicious home-cooked Italian fare.

It is this very fare that is at the heart and soul of the menu at Cosi - food that is lovingly prepared by Sam, enhanced with aromatic herbs grown in his garden, and always created with great dedication to the use of fresh produce. Fregula is home made pasta prepared entirely by hand.

Bottarga is desiccated mullet roe, in Sardinia widely used in many dishes like spaghetti, bruschetta etc.

Culusgionisi di patata

A traditional Sardinian a dish made with very simple ingredients, potatoes, onions, pecorino cheese, etc served with a traditional chunky tomato sauce.

Angelo Pasta’s ricotta ravioli mediterraneo

Ricotta ravioli produced in Angelo Pasta’s factory served with a Mediterranean style sauce of, artichokes, grilled eggplant and capsicum, sundried tomatoes & garlic.

Malloredus del campidano

Malloredus is traditional home made pasta, with Italian sausage in a tomato based sauce.

Bollito di agnello

Very slowly cooked lamb, traditionally served with celery sticks & radishes

Maialetto allo spiedo

A traditional Sardinian way to cook a whole piglet, or lamb, very simple but tasty eaten with celery sticks and radishes.
